THE USUAL ARRANGEMENT

You didn't hire a technical project manager. You became one.

Nobody planned it this way. You hired an agency for the build, a host because you needed a server, an IT company for the office. Each did their piece competently. But the pieces only meet in one place — your inbox.

So you're the one forwarding error messages between suppliers, translating what one said into something another will accept, and deciding who's telling the truth. That's a technical job. You're doing it for free, badly, on top of your actual work.

Veritium takes the whole stack, so the integration happens inside one team instead of inside your calendar. One supplier, one accountable answer, and the coordination stops being your problem.

SERVICES

Four capabilities, one accountable team.

Most organisations don't need four suppliers. They need one team that builds, hosts, secures and fixes the same system — and understands how each of those decisions constrains the others.

01

Web & Platform Development

Custom websites, e-commerce stores, business applications, systems integration and AI. From a marketing site that earns its keep, to a multi-role platform with dashboards, workflows and an admin back-office.

Next.js · WordPress / WooCommerce · integrations & APIs · AI and agents · prototyped before build · you own the repository
02

Hosting, Support & Maintenance

We host and look after what we build — managed hosting, automated SSL, updates, backups, monitoring and a support line answered by the people who wrote the code. It comes with the build, not as a separate contract. Host it elsewhere if you'd rather; you own the lot either way.

Bundled with the build · monitoring · patching · backups · 24/7 emergency line · £0 exit fee
03

IT Infrastructure & Cloud

Networks, servers, virtualisation, Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, AWS, backups and disaster recovery. The layer underneath the applications, designed to stay up.

Microsoft 365 / Entra ID · AWS · virtualisation · disaster recovery
04

Security & Cyber

Cyber awareness training, system hardening, access control and security technology — plus the compliance workflows that regulated sectors have to evidence.

Hardening · access control · awareness training · compliance evidence
THE WORK

Brochure site to business platform, and everything after.

Most projects start as one of these and grow into another. We build all of them, and we don't push you up the scale for the sake of it — if a well-built marketing site is what the business needs, we'll say so.

WHERE IT'S BEEN HARDEST

Our most demanding builds have been for UK accredited training providers — course commerce that handles e-learning and classroom dates in one basket, enrolment and certification, tutor and venue rules, and an audit trail that survives inspection. Three of them, on two different stacks. If your business has that kind of complexity in it, we've met it before.

See what we've built ↓
  • Websites Fast, accessible, properly structured sites that load quickly and rank. Editable by your team without breaking, and without a monthly page-builder subscription.
  • E-commerce platforms Online stores that handle real commercial complexity: digital and physical delivery in one basket, dated and capacity-limited products, quote-based B2B ordering with no public prices, and catalogues that hold up at scale.
  • Custom systems and business applications When off-the-shelf can't model how you actually work, we build the application. Multi-role access, dashboards, admin back-offices, document handling, scheduled workflows and reporting.
  • Integrations Getting your systems to talk to each other — payment providers, CRMs, accounting, learning platforms, third-party APIs, internal tools. Usually the difference between a system people use and a system people work around.
  • AI and agent integration Bringing AI into the software you already run, where it does something useful: automating the repetitive path through a workflow, handling first-line queries, processing documents, or wiring an agent into your systems so it can actually act rather than just answer. We're interested in the tasks worth removing, not in bolting a chatbot onto a homepage.
WORK

Things we built, that are running right now.

We'd rather show you production systems than a testimonial carousel. Here's what we've built, what it does, and what it's built on.

The ARTA-HUB admin Command Center, showing platform health, an action queue and the full set of administrative tools in one view

A custom platform built from the ground up, doing three jobs that are usually three separate systems: placing candidates into temporary and permanent roles, selling and delivering accredited training, and running the operational back-office of tutors, venues and compliance. The architecture, the data model, the application and the interface are all ours.

71 routes across four user journeys — job seekers, employers, learners and administrators — with tutor availability and venue scheduling, an accredited-to-deliver workflow, a BS7858 screening and vetting module, an audit trail across the operational records, and a multi-region variant for the client's Malta operation. All 71 screens were prototyped and approved before production code was written.

IN BUILD — PRE-LAUNCH

The Square Metre Group

Course store rebuild — WooCommerce (HPOS), Roots Bedrock, Sage 11

A rebuild of an ageing training-provider site onto a maintainable stack: Composer dependency management, environment separation, a build pipeline, and custom blocks so the client's team can build pages without a page-builder subscription.

ABOUT

A technical consultancy that answers its own phone.

Veritium Support Services is a UK technical consultancy based in Dartford, Kent. We build web platforms and e-commerce systems, and we run the hosting, infrastructure and security underneath them.

Doing all of it under one roof means the decisions line up: the application reflects how it'll be hosted, the infrastructure reflects what the application does, and security is a constraint from the start — not a review at the end.

FIVE THINGS WE HOLD OURSELVES TO

We tell you when you don't need us.

If your site is fine, we'll say it's fine — and earn the call when something actually is broken.

We prototype before we build.

You approve a clickable version before production code exists, while changes are still cheap.

You own everything.

Code, repository, domain, data. From day one, on request, without an argument.

We make leaving easy.

A documented export of everything, no exit fee. We'd rather keep clients because the work is good.

We're small on purpose.

You deal with the people doing the work. Nothing goes to an account manager, nothing goes offshore.

STRAIGHT ANSWERS

Questions worth asking before you hire anyone.

Do we own what you build?

Yes. The code, the repository, the domain and the data are yours from day one. We'll transfer them on request without argument.

We already have a website. Can you take it over?

Usually. We'll audit what's there and tell you honestly whether it's worth maintaining, upgrading or replacing — including when the honest answer is "leave it alone, it's fine."

Can you host and look after the site once it's built?

Yes — that's how we prefer to work, and it's part of the conversation from the start rather than sold to you afterwards. We host what we build because it's the only way we can be genuinely accountable for it. What we don't do is take on hosting on its own, for a codebase we didn't write and aren't allowed to change.

What if we'd rather host it ourselves?

That's fine, and it changes nothing about the build. We hand over the complete package on completion — code, repository, database, documentation and domain — and you run it wherever you like. You own it either way.

How fast do you respond?

Business hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 18:00. Emergency support runs 24/7 for anything that takes a live system down.

Are you a big team?

No — and that's the point. You deal directly with the people doing the work. Nothing is handed to an account manager and nothing goes offshore.
